how do those efi systems handle a tank lift? i know when i had my carb tank lifted it killed my gas amount...i'm thinkin maybe with the efi the pump might help...maybe? then agin if the pump is in the same spot as the petcock then i guess legisticaly you would run into the same issue
Old Skool- I haven't had any problems really with the tank lift and the EFI. My low gas light is pretty much useless as it comes on after just 60 miles or so. I just have to open the filler cap and take a peak to see how much fuel I have left, like I had to do on my old '91 sporty. I just wish they placed fuel pump petcock further down the tank.
Suburban Mom & Burnster- I love my drag bars. Being 6' tall, it allows me to stretch out a little more. I like leaning just a little forward, and I hate sitting perfectly upright. The longest ride I do at any time in 300 to 350 miles, and they are perfectly fine for that length. The crappy shocks do more harm to my back than the drag bars. I just picked up a set of Street Glide shocks, so that's my next project.
BTW, the pinup is going to go hand-in-hand with the paint scheme I'm planning. Let's just say WW2 fighter plane.

Thats a bada$$ looking Sporty!!! Where did you get the Air cleaner cover? Where did you get the seat? Can't wait to see it with the WWII theme!
Thanks! The air cleaner is built by V-Twin Mfg and sold by Licks. I had them powdercoat it satin black. It turned out killer.
The seat is a Rich Phillips sold by Mother Road Customs. They have some good looking other pin-up designs as well as some really nice tooled leather seats.
