SE??
Looking at a '97 1200.
This has a number of skulls and chromed controls. AC has an SE emblem.
This bike is almost pristine, low miles.
I wonder if this one is SE all the way. No info in Sportie history re SE - was there a true SE in '97? How do I determine that? Is there an indicator in the VIN?

Still looking at this '97... the deal offered now seems better as bike is in servicing/parts replacement - price remains.
History page shows '96 with some changes, not '97.

How do I check for 1200C or S? VIN?
Just what is reliability of a '97 XL1200 - mileage under 5k?

the reliability of 91-2003 sportsters has never been an issue to me, the only time reliability becomes an issue is if the engine is super tweeked too far to be a daily rider.
the bikes under 5k,if it runs good on a testdrive n the price is good your styling.
