Default Starting it for the first time EVER!

Well after it sitting on the drive for about four to five weeks and not having once fired it up to hear it roar, my new gas tank turned up yesterday,
After fitting it, filling it with fuel, topping up the oil, I slowly turned the key, switch the kill switch and hit the starter button, only to have it not start :0(

Guessed I had a flat battery as it's been sat for soooo long so wasn't to upset, just carried on fitting the rear fender and lights, then remembered I hadn't plugged the new switches in,
Lifted the tank, pushed it the clips and fired it up for the first time!!!!!!!
WHAT A SOUND!!!!!! My word I love that sound!!!!! I havnt stopped smiling all day :0)

Salvage, totalled my bike on a pothole and only third party (not covered) so it was either fix up my old bike or sell it,
Would have cost too much so sold it on a salvage auction, they had this sportster there, I like projects, always always ALWAYS wanted a Harley so went for it,
And was blown away but it's sound that I needed to share the fact lol
More pics to come :0)
