So, like a complete idiot I didnt label 2 small hoses and now that I'm putting things together I have no idea where they go. My manual isn't as detailed as I had hoped.
I assume the one that is circled red is the vent line...???
The one that comes out of the bottom of the carb is...and goes to....????
The one on the bottom is the overflow redirect tube. It usually snaked behind the left pushrod tubes (squeezes between the fins) and dumps around where your oil lines group together around the front pulley.
The first pic is just a red X for me. Can't see it.

That's the overflow redirect tube for your tank. It runs toward the rear of the bike. There should be a little clamp for that filter piece...but you can run it anywhere as long as it's not by the exhaust. If you take your gas cap off you'll see a small tube next to the filler hole. That hose is the end of that tube.
I like the way you ran the breather over the A/C. I did the same thing. and mreed always has the answers. Oh, and mreed. I got my rims. the back one from the soft tail fit perfect. if ya remember my thread asking bout that one.
Awesome! I routed it back near the backbone then to right under the seat. It seemed to have bends that logically directed it there.
Thanks MREED!!!
No problem.
This is a crappy pic but there should be a nipple in the rear downtube on your frame behind the battery. That's where the other end of that tank hose actually goes. The bottom of that down tube is open so if there's any fuel spillage it goes directly to the ground.

Eventually I think I will do the breather bolt mod Mreed did a while back, but for now I think that it looks clean enough and accomplishes what it needs to being routed up and over.
I'll look for the nipple this morning. I have to take the seat off and figure out why it won't fit right anymore. I think that the seat just barely slid under the end of the tank and rotating it cut down that gap just enough. If it's not one thing it's another.
