No, you have a 7/8" stem the WG is 1". May be able to change cups and bearings but I've never done it so I can't tell you for sure.

So long as they are both 1" stems. Curious about neck height though (cup to cup distance). Fork stops may need addressing, couldn't tell ya for sure though.

hey Crazy Walt.. are you going to fit this wide glide front end yourself??.. you know.. I took a similar approach.. I bought a used old wide glide front end... but by the time I was done chopping, buying drill bits/tools/paint/cutting wheels, cursing, sweating, I probably spent more money than simply buying the conversion kit (not even counting how many times I had to disassemble the front end, and downtime)... sure... my bike looks cool... but I am certain it looks equally cool compared to a bike converted with the kit... believe me, I am not a complainer and I have done a lot things to my bike, but fitting that front to my bike was a painful experience.. I hope yours is a lot simpler if you decide to go with the $170 front end.

Hey joe botics thanks for the lesson. I was thinking about it but i think i will pass. Seems like every time i do something to my bike myself then i always have to buy more tools lol. I was thinking about getting the conversion but with the things i want to do to my bike i feel this will be the last thing done if ever. I really dig it ya know but there is so much i wanna do to my bike to maje it mine.
