thanks, efi vs carb discussions get heated real quick, appreciate your response and would agree with having best of both worlds, yet i don't have/haven't had a carbed one...

to the op, my advise is to survey prices in your area, this requires time and patience...neither seem to be a good deal to me, but prices depends on the demans were you live

Default don't buy before 2004

if u are going to ride a sporty and get smiles, get the rubber-mount engine after '04. i learned the hard way. bought a '97, tuned it, loved it but couldn't ride it for the shaking. i bought an '05 883 last month for a 1200 conversion project while recovering from shoulder surgery. not going to need surgery. lady had bike in garage sitting with 1500 miles, not licenced since 'o6. she had carbs cleaned, runs great. it's a c with lowered progressive rear, solo and oem saddle, kuraykyn grips and forward pegs, memphis shades shield. i jetted it and put some pythons on it. it rocks..............i'll take $5500. call me at 727.642.8396 if interested.
