Default Remove Baffles & Re-Map?

I have a 2011 883 Sportster Super Low w/Screamin Eagle Slash Cut slip-ons. Can I remove the baffles without remapping the ECM???

You can and not need a remap, but you should. I had SE slip on's with no baffles and it was very loud and did not sound as good as smaller open pipes like I have now. The slip on's are so big that it works like an echo chamber, but go ahead and pull the baffles and see what you think.

Opening the exhausts (removing baffles) will result in a leaner A/F ratio... not good for your engine(hot). The reverse(like putting baffles in straight pipes) will be better, because running too rich will not cause any damage to your engine(cold)... only carbon build-up and waste of gas...

IMO, remap !
