Hey Guys. Brand new to the HD forums. I have a 07 Nightster. I'm working on installing a LED accent light kit on the bike. Only problem I'm having is finding a place on the bike to mount and wire the remote control antenna box. It's about the size of a cigarette box and shouldn't get wet or hot. It doesn't fit inside the battery cover. Ideas? I'll try to get pics up later. Thanks!

I just yesterday installed a LED controller from ledglow.com on my girl's 09 Sporty. (in her case it really IS a girl's bike). It fit perfectly right under the saddle in a little recess literally right in the center of the triangle under a large connector. If your bike is like hers, there aren't many more spots available, but you might find room under the headlamp visor or on top of the ECU (if injected). One other possible spot I saw was right behind the engine on the firewall but this would be my last choice. If you relocated the coil and ignition key to the left side in between the heads you would be able to mount it where the coil now resides.
Here are two bikes I recently did (the vrod is mine)
Schwingding how did you route your front fork lights on the sporty? Pictures?
I didn't. Those bikes in that picture are a road king and a vrod. Did not mount lights under the fork on the sporty, but I have no pictures of me not doing it either...
