That's right, I know they make Harley applications but the smallest I saw was 88 in
Buddy I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but it sounds to me that youd be better off on a gsxr than a harley, your talking about big bore kits, and superchargers on a 8k bike. you could just buy a 2011 gsxr750 for 12k and call it done.

Sorry I guess I came off wrong. I already have a 2006 gsxr750 and I want to make the switch to Harley and I know nothing about them so bare with me please.

AHHHH ok that explains it, look at it like this, if your buying a harley, then forget about the speed, no harley will touch that 750 of yours without extensive and expensive modifications. but if your dead set on performance look at the VRSC lineup they may be more to your liking. you can pick up a Vrod Muscle for 15k.
The issue energie is the money it will take to make a harley crotch rocket fast. Even if money's not an option you still won't handle like a crotch rocket. If you want the harley sound and styling go in on one. There's a lot of Harley hate out there but more people trade in metrics for harleys then vice versa.
I understand the appeal of a fast harley, but if you're going to do it your options may be better looking at a Dyna, or dyna frame. Then you can think about Harley's 120r motor or s&s motors, etc. Just seems that there's more options for bigtwins.
Thanks for the understanding everyone. I missed the demo days here and everyone says the iron 883 is underpowered so I was just trying to do research before buying. I'm looking for a nice city cruiser and I don't need speed but some ***** are nicd

Like a bar-hopper? Sportster or Dyna imo. But I would really go 1200 or go 883 and get the 1200 kit.
nrhs makes the 1250 kit. that and some head work, cams, etc and you would be surprised with the power. the bike itself it still pretty light. it kinda just depends on how much you want to spend.
My 1200 is fast for the mods I have and fast for a V-twin, but is nothing like the sport bikes I have had. I love the looks of the Iron, but I would get a 1200 Nightster to start and build form there-heads, cams, pipes, AC all that good stuff.
