So I posted I picked up an 09 Iron at the end of last week that had a 1200 kit in it.Well my buddy and I checked it out tonight and it's an 883.I questioned it after I saw the stock A/C.So I guess a trip to the dealer tomorrow to see what they are going to do about it.
DAMN. FROM THE DEALER. Wow. That's either false advertising because they knew or they are complete retards because they didnt. Either way I wouldn't spend another nickel.
So in all honesty go see a lawyer first. See exactly how far you can go here. If they supposedly sold you a 1200 tell them that's what you want. Period. Give them the option of putting a 1200 kit in on their dime or every penny you spent back. Signing fees or whatever they call it.
Update this thread tomorrow. I gotta see how this turns out
Have you ridden a 883 before? If it is a 1200 the power increase will be very noticeable. I think I read somewhere that either 883 or 1200 is stamped on the cylinders. Mreed is right, just because it looks the same doesnt mean it hasn't been converted.
(checked it out) well tell us about this secret we do not know!
not to be a smart azz but dont make yourself look bad at dealer
do your homework before shootin off
