When you say tins, what did you have painted exactly? Engine covers? Did you remove them from the bike etc?

FYI, Tin= fenders and tank.

Are you still using front blinkers? If you remove the fronts and use only the rear they will just be a solid light when activated.

Yes I did swap out the front bulbs for LED and put LED gems in the rear. Now that you mention that I'll put the reg bulbs back in and give that a try. All wiring stayed the same as far as color goes. I had the "gas tank, fenders, chain guard, oil tank, rear frame rail covers" painted a dark metallic gun metal grey. I had to get away from that yellow. I'll post up pics when she's complete! Thanks again everyone for the suggestions! Hope its as simple as an equalizer bar.. Why will the 4 way flashers still flash is what stumps me????

Because LED's still pull a little resistance...but apparently not enough to trip your flasher. Your flasher won't work until it "feels" enough of a ground LED's won't produce much of a ground. However, when you ground all 4 at once (when the 4-way flashers are on) it is just enough to trip the flasher mechanism.
