Default electrical problem

hi guys, i just installed my new set of road 6 custom zbars.
i wired the electrics internally.
when i finished, i tried everything and it all works great apart from my turn signals and my headlamp switch. as iv never used full beam yet, im not too heartbroken about it, but the turn signals is gonna be a problem.

my suspicions are a fuse or the wire isnt strong enough to carry the current for the lights.
as im not experienced in any of this, i could use some help from someone from someone who is

Check the fuses...but make sure you're not pinching a wire first or you'll blow through a couple unnecessarily like I did.

If all your lights worked before you installed new bars, it's very likely that some of your splices came apart or some of the wires got chaffed when you pulled them through the bars. Check the wiring at the switch control housing where it enters the bars and also where it exits the bars in the center. If you drilled the bars yourself, did you file the holes smooth? Did you install rubber grommets or wire wrap between the wiring and the holes? If not it's likely the wires got chaffed or broken when you pulled them through. Also check the inside of the switch control housing to make sure you didn't pinch the wires or pulled them off of the switches accidentally when you screwed them together.

Fuses only blow when shorting to ground when u try to work switch. If fuses aren't blown I agree check your splices

thanks guys.
the bars came pre-drilled.
im sure they didnt pinch at the control housing, as the holes were quite big.
my guess would be the wires came apart where i spliced them as i pulled them through.
damn it! it took me so long to get all the wires through and splice them.
i guess i gotta start again.
not today though as its raining pretty bad.

ok problem solved.
while thinking back to when i installed these, to remember if there was anything i could have done wrong, i remembered something.
while wiring the two wire of the right turn signal, i dropped the two wires. i had them labeled, but i had to cut them short because i estimated the wire too long (better too long than too short eh). so the part of the wire i chopped had the labels on.
when i dropped them i was almost certain i knew which was which and wired them accordingly.
this was the only possible mistake i could have made. so i thought worth a shot.
i pulled the wire (grip side) cut the wires and rewired them the other way around.
fired up the the bike, my indicators worked. yay happy me.

oh high beam works aswel
