If i had a tourer then it would be a no brainer and add crashbar with pegs ,, But I have a 96 Sporty with Forwards controls and simple question is can i add a mustache bar or front motor mount highway pegs without issues and be usable ?
thanks in advance

Yes, I have them in my bike, very comfortable and useful
What year bike? The frames changed in '04. Also, I don't think he's talking about pegs on an engine guard, although that may work if he likes the style.

Yeah, I saw that. The guy I quoted has a White Gold '07 (I think) XL1200C, with black engine guards. I'm not trying to pick on anyone, but my point was that it helps if you know what bike(s) you're talking about. You clearly stated you have a '96 in your original post, and that's most helpful.

I looked thru that thread and seen a cpl with the bar and i think 1 with straight mount pegs
Not sure what to do , i do ride and use the existing pegs and stretch out on them but makes me leary when i corner thinking my feet are going to drag or a damn groundhog scoots out and next thing i know i gotta broken ankle from hitting it .
