A buddy of mine just got some tracker bars for his bob and Was wondering if anyone made hollow riser bolts for an extra Clean internal wire job. Googled but came up empty. Thanks boys and girls.

If you dont find any let me know.... i can have a buddy make a set... just tell me the bolt size and thread pitch
maybe...maybe not...but man to me that sounds super sketchy! unless of course he is building a show bike or one that won't be ridin that often...then it would be cool.
if he is trying to make the bike super clean why not just get rid of the stock controls, blinkers, horn, highlow....all that stuff can be relocated with toggles off the bars to give it that super clean look

Strange. I Googled hollow riser bolts and got a number of hits.
But as said above, that's not a place I'd want a weaker bolt...........
Mercury moto makes some and I think San Diego customs has some or knows where to get them. I know people running 14 inch tbars that do wheelies running them with no problems. They aren't as weak as you think.
Haha thx guys for the concern. He only needs one to be hollow. Not all four. Just passing a couple of wires through turn sigs. Ill tap Rene at mercury Moto. Thx for the info trip
Did it on mine bmx. Described the process on the Winter Makeover thread. Used 3/4" Grade 8 bolts. It's a bitch drilling them out. Had to chuck them up in a lathe and took a lot of time. But they are plenty strong and perfect for running the wires out of the bars.
FWIW: There was a post in the Softail Section not too long ago, where a guy had wrecked do to factory riser bolts(s) failing. Man, how fugged up would that be? But it has happened, and they weren't drilled hollow.
