Question customizing the fender

hey guys, so custom paint aside, i want to have a tribute on my rear fender for one of my best friends who was KIA on christmas eve 2012. i was going to have a custom painter draw something up, but another buddy of mine who was with us created a graphic/decal type thing with a drawing of my deceased friend and some other stuff. what is the best way to get that permanently put on to the fender? i don't want a custom artist's version of it because we know they are all about making it their own. i just want that exact image on there. how would i do that and about how much does it cost?

I would say find a very good airbrush artist and have him do a rendering of what you have on the fender then clear coat it!I found several great artists on Craiglist in my area.............

You could use the decal/vinyl and lay it good with out bubbles or anything and a very fine sanding around the edges with a thick clear coat.
Or have some one airbrush it and clear
Sorry for your loss man
