This topic has probably been discussed a million times. I just needed some help in deciding which kind of drag bars i would install on my 2010 883. Please post pics and specs of your bars. Help me decide what to get. I'm leaning towards the HD drag bar and do I really need to change cables in order to install the bar?
Here is my bike as is sits.
Thanks in advance everyone

I don't mean to intrude here. But I'm in the same boat. Recenty purchased an iron and been looking at bitwell zero drag bar. Has anyone used these and if so seen pics of them installed. They are what I'm looking for but with only being 24 inches not sure if they are to small.
I just bought the HD drag bars and put them on in like 20min. I forgot what pullback they have but they are 32in long. Also you DON'T have to change cables. It would look better but I didn't and it doesn't look bad at all. Go on the 2nd to last page on my thread and you will see how it looks. I have a 48 so I don't think it should be much different then yours, someone correct me if I'm wrong....
I also put the HD drag bars on without any issue. No clearance issues with my flipped mirrors (and i even lopped off an inch on each side of the bar).
I did end up going with a shorter clutch cable because it was rubbing the rubber boot on the fork... But you could probably work that out. I also ended up replacing the front brake line and ran it straight to the caliper -- and got rid of the stock metal tube brake setup. You don't have to do this either but the stock front brake gets a bit tight -- so prepare to loosen the banjo bolt a hair to rotate it. Also flip the clip around that holds the brake line to the upper triple clamp to give your line more breathing room. All pretty quick and easy.
I like the HD bar. There are cheaper options but some didn't have the detent for the control cables. I wasn't doing internal wiring on a drag bar so the detent was imp to me.
Thanks for the help guys. Blu thanks for the pic. Now i know what my bike could like with the bars and cowl all together. I might have to go a bit lower on the risers. I want the speedo to stay inside the cowl. Keep posting everyone. I appreciate it.
