Red key light went on sometimes
When riding last week about 100 mil I have observed that the red key light went on, but no problem found, as if nothing happened. After a moment, the light went off, I switched off the bike, turned it on again, started, and the light disappeared, no problem. The symptom did not repeat again. I guess that the battery in the key fob is going to die, but not sure, I am not frequently using the key fob, in normal riding, I do rather enter code, and keep my key fob at home (battery unloaded), but at longer riding in open road with friends, I use key fob for quicker starting. Anyone has the same symptom? My key fob (2007 XL1200C, no button) seems to drain the battery too fast (2 weeks approx., for this reason I dont like to use it; put a new batt, use a while, then take out the batt, keep safe). Thank in advance.
