I was wondering if anybody knows a place where i can get a set of "black chrome" drag pipes for my Nightster. I'm not sure that they even exist.

I plan to wrap the SE exaust with heat shield material. Black or Grey.

Black chrome is a reflective type chrome that looks smoked. It still is reflective and mirrorlike, but it looks tinted.

It looks like chrome with a piece of window tint on top.

Oh, and it looks absolutely sweet.

Yea I agree...powder coat does look good!! If you can do without your exhaust for a couple weeks, there are companies all over the US that you can ship your pipes too, they'll coat em and ship em back! Dupont makes 11 different black powders for this process. After the Sporty is paid off (and the Road King is parked in front of the house...), I planon making severalchanges including blacking out several parts, including the pipes!
