anyone have a pic of sporty with a 4.5 gallon with a tank lift, I was thinking of going only with a 1.5" lift, because im not planning a wire tuck, i'd love to see what it looks like first, I know the smaller tanks look killer lifted, not sure about these bigger ones though.

I was thinking about this also. Posted a couple weeks ago for pics but didnt see any.
Some photos of my '04 Sporty with a 1.5" tank lift and wire tuck. I also relocated the coil to the left side of the engine and tucked it under a cowbell cover.

1.5" lift from DK Customs - I only did it to ease the wire tuck...I later put it back to stock as I felt it looked better that way. Just my humble opinion, but I think the raised tanks look like hell with the lid off.
It's homemade. Just bought some metal stock from the local hardware store, drilled the holes and painted them. Probably cost a couple bucks at most. I only raised it enough to facilitate the wire tuck.
