We just got this "custom" built 07 motorcycle that is supposed to be Sportster based.
Was told it is a 1999 1200 sportster engine that is bored/stroked(?) to 1340. It is chain driven. Is there a way to confirm this? The engine cylinders have 1200 stamped on them.
I'm also looking for information regarding the frame? Is this a stock frame or which custom manufacture built the frame?
Has a 200mm rear tire and springer front end. I don't have the specs on the frame itself.
Parabellum, how different you and I are and that's OK, my take on that bike is that it's down right ugly, uncomfortable, ill handling, loud and has a prostate killer seat.
The frame appears to be this Cycle One custom frame.
Looks similar but a couple big differences. I'll contact them though.
Where the rear axle mount is, is different on both bikes (this one looks very similar to a redneck engineering frame we had a on different custom bike).
The rear mount is also different in that there are two posts that come up to mount to the back of the engine/transmission and the picture you attached it is just one "post"

All I would do is a few things and that bike would be perfect to me. New seat that is way more comfortable, swap in a lifted peanut tank with an external clear line as a gas gauge, paint the frame back to black.

ooh, but you should see this frame in person! The frame has a "brushed aluminum" style to it, and is powdercoated or painted metallic clear so that it is smooth (but looks "brushed" and the copper color looks great with chrome/black/matte black!
