I have friend,that will put this one on his 48http://www.harley-davidson.com/store/1-piece-detach-sissy-bar-upright,do you need any mounting kit to fit this?

You will need the detachable docking hardware kit. I think its around $40 for it.

The docking hardware is 4 bolts so its $10 a bolt not a great deal but you need them.

At $10 a bolt, i got a kit off of eBay ... 1/2 the cost, perfectly fine ... Cheers!
