all of the above happened to mine. I said F it and pulled the Main fuse for a half hour and most of the codes went away next time I powered the bike on. The ride modes came back and the check engine light went away after riding around for a little while.
Harley **** the bed when it came to software on this bike 😂
Thanks. I'll pull the fuse tonight and ride a bit tomorrow. The bike is definitely a love hate for me. It's such a great looking bike that gets tons of compliments and is fun to ride but software issues and starting issues make me want to get rid of it.
Well fuse pulled and reinstalled. Ride modes are back and engine light is off but the triangle remains. Assuming that's from the U040000C code from the improper BCM version. I'll see what a ride does tomorrow if I'm able.
Just came back from a ride. Fault code triangle remains and the BCM U04000C code remains but all other codes have cleared themselves. I still have issues with starting the bike and/or starting the bike in an actual ride mode. I'll get it to the dealer when they are willing to look at it.
Does anyone have a file they can share for the 5.1288.2 20211217 update? I have come across one for the PanAm as well as an even earlier update for the Sportster S but not the one I'm looking for. 5.1288.2 20211217
