Two common options 195/60R16 or 205/55R16 The first is the same height as stock and only about 1/2 inch wider. The second is a shade lower and about an inch wider. It will work but little room to spare if you were to get a low tire.
I use the 195/60 R16

I’m using 195/60 r16 on a 2010 limited and it’s fitting great. I’m using a Hancook 426 and not real happy with it. It does great between 25 and 60 I cannot tell the difference of a mt but above 70 it seems to start getting squirrelly.

Another thing I put Ride on in the tire. I am sold on it it does balance the tire well. I am currently running the Hancook 426 is working well for me and even at 90 Mph stable . But keep in mind I am running a sidecar so it may be a different story on two wheels.

+1 on the Ride On!
I am currently running a 195/60 R16 on this bike, but on the old bike (2011 RGU) I ran 205/55 R16s for over 30,000 miles with no issues.

Just got back from a 12 day 4,800 mile trip with tire issues of any kind.,.

195/60 is an exact replacement in Revolutions per mile. The 195/55 is about 25 more revolutions per mile and reading the owners manual on my recently acquired 18 ultra classic reminded me of the ABS and possible issues with the ABS functionality.

After running the driveguard 195/55 on it for 35k+ miles I want to do the same on the Harley. Anyone crossed this bridge yet?

I run the 195/60R16 . 2017 RGU with sidecar . I like it being an exact match (Revolutions per mile) and only about 1/2 wider. No clearance issues and still a little wiggle room if you were to get a low tire for some reason. Last change I did switch to Michelin A/S premier the hankook worked but wore faster than I had expected. The Michelin is doing well.
ABS. The ABS on mine works fine, even with the sidecar . I really don't think the ABS cares.

The 195/60 is an exact replacement in terms of revolutions per mile compared to the stock M/C tire so I'd expect no ABS issues. The 195/55 is smaller and has a 825 Revs per mile rating, revs for the 195/60 match stock (800). I wouldn't expect problems with the 195/60.

I talked to a HD service manager local to me and he is verifying what has to be done if anything by converting to the 195/55 car tire from the stock motorcycle tire. When I find out any info I will post here

To my experience there are no ABS issues. I ran a 205/55 R16 on my 2011 RGU with ABS for 30,000 plus miles without a a single issue, ABS or otherwise. Although I did use my Thunder Max to calibrate the speedo.

I bought a tuner for the Speedo already, also I just cant leave anything alone. I modify almost everything I own. I supercharged a 2004 Ford Ranger 4.0L with a supercoupe supercharger. Man that truck was a hoot.
