DYNOJET: Questions about power vision data logging
The Dyno RoomA special room dedicated for Dyno tuning products, troubleshooting and results. All Gearheads and Dyno Operators are welcome here as well as the guys that are new to tuning. Please see the special rules for this section before posting.
I have a 2015 Street Bob with engine mods listed below in my sig. I used a base map from fuel moto and dialed it in with several auto tune runs on my power vision. All of the cells hit during the auto tune runs got to within 2% with the exception of a random cell here and there. The bike runs great, but occasionally under hard acceleration when I close the throttle to up shift I get a loud pop in the exhaust. I want to run a data log but have a few questions:
1) Does the power vision only log the parameters indicated on the screen when the log is started?
2) What parameters do I need to capture in a data log?
I used auto tune basic, so there were no changes to the timing. If there is anything else I can provide that would help, just let me know. Thanks in advance.

Do I set these up in multiple data log screens and run with it or does the power vision automatically log everything when I run a data log?
It has been a wile but as I recall, there is a pick log fields screen on the PV screen. Once you set it up, it will log all of these fields unless you are running an autotune session.
I went into the data log setting menu as directed by the user manual and selected the narrow band tuning global signals list. It then reset the device to include whatever is the default for this global list, but I have no readily apparent way of viewing what exactly is included in this list or to edit said list to ensure all signals on the list provided above are included. I must be missing something here.

I think I see now. The global lists only make available parameters to be selected for gauges. I now have to populate the gauges with the above parameters to log them.

No. What ever signals you have in your list will be logged regardless of what gauge you are viewing.

Create the signals list that WB has above.
I'm an idiot. You can only edit the manual list. I was trying to edit one of the auto lists. I'll make the above parameters are included in the manual list, run a few catalogs and post up here with a copy of my map for review since I don't have the slightest clue what to look for.
