It's a blast to watch in person. I enjoy it. I don't follow anyone or the sport as a whole though, I just enjoy seeing it from time to time.

I have a good friend who rides ... He also held the Number 1 plate for Indoor Ice Racing in Michigan a few years ago

Been following flat track since the late '50's. I grew up at the track because I had two uncles that raced. They rode WRs, then KRs. Most exciting form of racing there is! I'm still going to the races 60 years later. These guys have major skills. Very, very dangerous though. 140 mph within inches of each other, 110 mph through the corners. Sadly, I've seen over 20 riders killed in the years I've been going to races. Ride along.......

I used to watch it in the 80's in upstate NY. My good friend Tuff McBride and his brother Lenny both raced. In the late 80's Tuff moved out to Cali and I moved to NC and we lost touch. He moved back to NY and owns a bar now. I'm planning a trip up there this summer and will stop by his bar and hopefully get reacquainted.
