Default Serious question...

What makes black bikes faster? Is it due to not having the heavy metal flakes? I could understand that, but I wouldn't think the pigment from other solid colors without the metallic flake would weight that much more. Thoughts?

You are on the right track but its not the weight, it's the aerodynamics of the smooth paint (Black) vs the flakes! ;-)

It has to do with the time/space continuum. See, black bikes aren't faster, they just fold time and space and get there sooner. Well, the perception of sooner. What takes a black bike 45 seconds, the other colors precieve it as 35 seconds.

BULL$$it are you serious? Most black bike owners know the sun is absorbed by the black paint color and the stored solar energy is then added to the HP of the bike...

Actually, they're slower. As the sun heats them, they expand and create more wind resistence.

Black makes you "cool" and we all know a cooler ride runs faster...just ask "the Fonz."

It's quantum physics. I think it has to do with the black holes in space. Another theory is that the people who ride black bikes are just cooler and faster by nature. Or it could be total b.s. Since I don't understand quantum physics (and I'm not very cool) I'm leaning towards b.s.

It's simple science you see. Since we do not have all that shinny **** on our bikes we do not have to squint to see, which leaves our eyes relaxed. Relaxed eyes in turn equate to more throttle, more throttle makes us faster. Then the only thing you see as we pass you by is our black asses, which goes back to the squinting eye thingy. See simple science.
Hope this helped.

You are correct. Quantum physics.
