Read a post a little while back about a rider complaining about getting stuck in traffic because there was a large group of riders that were treating the roads as if they owned them. By that I mean, they blocked traffic at intersections so that there group can stay together.
I did not know how I felt. It took me until now to decide that I would not be upset if I came across a motorcycle blocking traffic at an intersection so that his group can complete a turn at an intersection.
Maybe I am biased because at times, I enjoy a group ride of 10 to 15 bikes.
Maybe the rider that was complaining does not like to ride in groups at all.
Then I was wondering if the rider that was complaining, hated waiting for a funeral procession to pass.
How do you feel?

We do it at appropriate times. I'd rather see some jerk annoyed at being held up 20 or 30 seconds than attend the funeral of a friend that got in his way.
I don't mind waiting for funerals or large charity events (which usually have police directing traffic at intersections).
If you and you friends want to hold hands so you don't get separated you should take the bus.
If we have a large group and it's in a crowded intersection we just prior coordinate with the local PD or Sheriffs office and have them block for us. Out in the country it just depends how big the group is and how far we are going. If everyone knows the route well and its less than an hour ride we seperate if we have to and the rear road captain moves up to take the second group if the lead bike doesn't know the route.
Your choices in your poll are pointless. No one except law enforcement officers, DOT workers, or city/county workers have the authority to block intersections. To think otherwise is stupid, not to mention the liability that a "blocker" assumes.
You need to ride your own ride, obey the traffic laws and arrive alive. Groups of bikers have no more rights than any other motorist. Get use to it.

Agreed ^^
Plus what is the difference between "I don't mind" and "It doesn't bother me" ?
