Default How Much Would You Charge a Friend?

Brand new take off wheels/tires from a 2014 Limited. If you were selling them to a friend (not a brother, not an acquaintance), how much would you charge?

Just curious...

Depends on your definition of "friend". To me, a friend is a brother. If I has stock wheels sitting in my garage and a friend needed them, I would give them to him. YMMV

How good of Friend ?? Did he save your life in battle ? If he did I would give them to him.
If he was someone that I hung out with and rode with I would look at his income. If he made more than me he would pay regular price like anyone else. If he was tight on cash and had kids I would cut him a deal.

Case of Blue Moon and a Hug.
Seriously, 50% off retail and payments if needed.

If it's yours I would give them at no charge.

If he's a friend he doesn't expect a deal. Maybe I'd take a few bucks off, or throw something else in, of modest value. Or take payments, if I trusted him/her. But essentially, I'd sell them to a friend for what I'd sell them for to a stranger. It's business. And I wouldn't expect any breaks from them, buying something they had for sale. This way, it works out.

I find it a bit ironic that somebody would come here and ask a bunch of perfect strangers how he should treat a friend. If he's really your friend you shouldn't need to ask. The fact that you're asking tells me he's really not a friend.

In a business environment you are correct...friendship and business are totally different. The trick is to determine an acquaintance from a true friend...if you can count your true friends on the fingers of one hand..you are indeed a lucky man.

I'd sell them to a friend for the lowest possible price I could accept.
