The alternative is Rinehart True Duals / Arlen Ness Big Sucker / Vance Fuel Pak LCD....but thats a $1600.00 package......Thoughts?????
Keep the vents open on your lowers to flow more air past the engine, get floorboard extenders to move your feet/calf out further from the engine, and finally get a tune (even on a stock engine it makes a world of difference both irt heat and engine performance).

Got a 2009 Street Glide a few months ago (in the middle of summer) and can identify. I will admit i'm a little (ok, a lot) ignorant on the lingo and thus i need to ask what will be for most a stupid question: what does "pull off the lowers" mean??

Thanks in advance.

Treetop, they are referring to the lower fairings. They mount to the crash bar. Street glides do not come equipped with lower fairings, but some people do add them.

Cat + lean = HOT. Get rid of cat and retune.
