I purchased the Harley Davidson low profile oil pan, and it works well, recently I purchased a JS Jack and that has made my life even easier. Raising the bike up allows any jug/oil container to fit under it.
I use a Rectangular Tupper Ware container my wife had that she use to place Hamburg patties and such in when she made them the night before. It holds up to 3 oil changes worth easily and has a cover. When I have a free moment I empty the used oil into a 5 Gallon Gas can I keep for that purpose and periodically take it down to my Local garage who takes it off my hands for free. No fuss no muss. The Tupper Ware fits under the bike just fine and just barely touches the frame on the kick stand side. As far as the oil filter goes, this works well for me....http://www.formafunnel.com/
Jiffy stand on a scrap 2x4.. Antifreeze jug with a cut opening face. I work up thru a 6" length of paper towel cardboard tube pushed between shocks over the transmission drain so oil does not run on shock. I break the bolt with my ratchet and then use the long allen wrench to screw plug out. Piece of folded newspaper and paper towel under the oil filter. Watched my friend do his with a $100 worth of support equipment. Some people will fall for anything the tin men say or sell. He also will only eat steel cut oats. So what can you say??????
