Try to have them barter on your side, Not theirs. Ask them to eliminate set up fees, freight, throw in 1st free service and a deal on warranty. If they hassle you to never-ending moment...Just jot down your phone number, give them that piece of paper with your final dollar figure, trade and expectations, say..."Talk some more later whenever you're ready" and walk away.

$29,439 for a 2014 is about $5,000 to much for that bike. I think I would find a dealer that will be honest with you and give you a fair deal. Wow thats crazy !!!!!

I also think this is a very bad deal. Do the math, and if any dealer is asking you to pay in combination of your trade and out-the-door cash value of $26,000 for a 2014 limited with color option, you are paying too much.

It depends on what your 08 is worth. If you could buy the 14 for $26k otd, then they are giving you $9k for your 08. What could you sell it for? Lets say you could sell it for $12k, then you would only have to come up with $14k difference instead of $17k. In that case you would have to decide if not bothering to sell yours is worth giving them an extra $3k. Too many guys judge whether they're getting a good deal on whether they can afford the payments and have no idea of the true cost of the bike.
