I have it connected to the battery and when the bike is running they turn on and heat up well. When I start the bike they wont turn on, or if they do its only for a second.
Anybody experience this before on any heated gloves?
I use Gerbing myself, but they all heat up on 12 volts. I hook my controller directly to the battery. You just have to remember to turn them off. But loosing power after the bike starts, I've never heard of that. Check your power source with a volt meter, before and after starting.
I am hooked directly to the battery... I will get a meter on it to see if there is an issue with the system it's a 2013 street glide??? wouldn't expect an issue.
My instructions said not to turn my heated gear on until after the bike was started.
On my Road Glide, I bought a cigarette lighter plug in to power my heated gear. It makes setting up the controller a lot easier. When the plug in arrived, I was surprised it had a off/on switch. Hook it all up, start the bike, turn it on.
