Where is the main breaker? I am a mechanic by trade. I can't believe a battery problem can cause main power failure unless it is completely shorted. A car can run without a battery once it is running. I am not dismissing the help. I much appreciate the suggestions.

Abad cable can go intermittently open - OR display huge resistance to the charging system.
No codes thrown. That is why I suspect the ignition switch. The tuner is a super chips new tuner. I forgot the name. First 50 were half off with hdforums as a discount code.

Not saying it's true in all cases, but my buddies battery died while we were at lunch. We push started the bike, but it only ran on one cylinder with a dead battery. Fortunately, we had ridden up to the top of a mountain road for lunch so it was down hill to get home.
A friend of mine had a similar problem. Bike kept running crappy, and the speedo would shut off and come back on. The bike was throwing all kinds of codes but I couldn't find out what they were without the internet. I checked all the connections and wires, couldn't find anything wrong. Just for the heck of it I checked battery voltage while running, seemed ok at an idle, slightly high. When revving the engine the voltage started to spike to 16V+. Checked the regulator and sure enough it was bad. replaced it and all the problems went away. Not sure if you have done that yet but I figured I would throw it out there.
