I am converting my new 2012 FLHP, to a 2 up bike. I found a 2012 Electra seat for $140 used at a dealer, or a sundowner on Craigslist for $150. We had a sundowner on our old 2001 king, and liked it. I am afraid that the Electra seat will look too big and blucky on a roadking without a tourpack. I bet the Electra seat would be comfortable. Thoughts? Thanks. Also I only have about a 30 inch inseam.
I put a HD Hammock seat on my '12 FLHP and it is big. But I also have a passenger back rest and it ties it all together pretty nicely. When my wife isn't riding with me, I have a Street Glide saddle that rides really nice.

sorry to hear that you're not keeping the cop seat...most comfortable seat Harley makes...my '09 copglide uses the air bladder as opposed to the newer coil over shock system...is it easy to adjust the resistance/height of the seat?
that being said, when you look at the HD spec sheet...the laden heights (based on 180 lb rider) of the RKPolice and the RK are 27.3" and 26.7", respectively, making the police bike 0.6" taller.
I don't understand why so many that purchase police bikes state that the seat is "too tall"...does 0.6" make that much of a difference? I'm curious.
