I recently swapped my Rinehart True Duals for a set of Rinehart 2 into 1s that I found for a steal on Ebay.
I have only put about 300 miles on them since the installation but i'm loving them so far.
They have a nice deep rumble at idle and cruising speed but sound like a muscle car when you crank on it.
As a bonus, I think they look great as well.
Running a 2 into 1 exhaust on a touring bike is just wrong. It is an abomination I tell you. Folks who do those things are going straight to heck. Real bikers would never use a 2:1!
Why the only thing worse than a touring bike with 2 into 1 would be a dark side touring bike with a 2 into 1 system!
Harleys in the past had a '2-into-1' long before they went over to the 2-into-2 set-up of more recent decades, so all we are doing is going back to a 'traditional' style! My Supertrapp gives me around 15% more low/mid range torque than the previous TDs, it also runs more smoothly, so is much nicer to ride.
I want to say it feels like it has a little more in the low to mid range but i'm not positive. It could just be that i'm happy about having this set up and I know that's what these pipes are supposed to do.
I can without a doubt say that there has been no noticeable loss of power anywhere in the rpm range.

Beautiful bike man. I was going to go with the Dragula but the rineharts were only $379. I couldn't pass up the deal.

Agreed...it took me a while to come to terms with a Harley having a pipe on either side just for looks. I also went to a Rinehart 2 to 1 recently...much happier!
