sure. this time. but look at it this way. you can cut one trip short a couple of days, and you'll have a tuner that lasts for the life of the bike. long after that one tour is done and forgotten.......

Good tip and I did that before I started this thread. However, I was hoping to hear more from some current users of the SESPT about their experiences, good or bad.

The ECM will override the changes you think you are making with the smart tune runs. Very frustrating. Time wasted. Sespt = waste of $$$.

Keep in mind, some systems are strictly a piggy back system that does nothing but allow you to "fool" the ECM. Also, some dealers will allow you to purchase the SE air cleaner, pipes, and the SE pro tuner and do the tune on their dyno for no extra charge. Delux HD in Gillette, WY. They will let you get in with them and explain what they are doing. The HD stuff isn't cheap, but Dyno time is also very expensive. You can also do the self tune. I have heard of some good results there also with the closed loop systems. (02 sensors) Grant.
