if you are trying to eyeball...on a model with 13" shocks, just the top of teh axle nut will be visible above the muffler ( in the gap between muffler and saddlebag)
on a 12" you'll see bottom of the nut...like this :

I was looking at a set of the Harley adjustable shocks that a guy has listed online saying they are from a 2015 Roadglide measuring 12 inches I was wanting to see if they are the same size as my 2013 Flhx shockst
