2011 Street Glide with 103, stock except for K&N air filter. Late last Fall I put on a set of Vied-10, the ones prescribed for my bike with the grounding wire. Bike immediately ran better, smoother, better acceleration. All improvements in performance were minor, but noticeable. Maybe 500 miles or so between then and the current warmer weather we are having.
I have ridden about 200 miles in the last week. I have had a very noticeable increase in decel popping and a couple of instances of hard starting which acted like a flooding issue.
Can anyone suggest what might be happening? I am not even sure these symptoms are for sure related to the Vied, that is just a guess.
Yeah, one time with the starting issue the engine was warm, I stopped for a minute and restarted and it acted like it was getting too much fuel. Other times it was cold when it did it.
No other changes at all other than the oil. Same type and brand of gas. The only non stock items on the bike are the air cleaner and the Vieds.
Awhile ago I bought a 07 RG with those installed by the previous owner. It road great for 1 season, then the next not so smooth. I remember posting on the forum, and someone saying sometimes they just crap out. I emailed Fuelmoto my setup and they programmed and sent me a small Dynojet tuner. Bike ran great.
Adjusted setting on Vied very slightly counterclockwise which according to instructions reduces percentage.
150 miles yesterday, highway as well as stop and go, no decel popping and no starting issues. Not sure if it's related, but does seems to have made a difference.
