New to Harley and definitely opposed to having everything Harley, but their Hustin Waterproof harness boots fit really well. I just picked up a pair last week. I guess time will tell if they were worth it or not. They look great!
Flip flops and shorts for me. Just kiddin, hard to beat a pair of Doc Martens for all day comfort. Red Wings were waaaay too hot for me, leather is crazy thick. I also have a pair of justin $hit kickers that are very comfy.
Go try on a pair of the Danner Tactical series boots. Easy-on/off and no break-in required. Feels like wearing tennis shoes but with plenty of support and protection.
+1 for Danner boots.
They have a lot of different models and some are made in the USA and some are not so do your research. The USA made ones are top notch and virtually indestructible. I have some solid leather ones with gortex mesh for breathability. Just amazing boots (but pricey).
For poor guys, I just got a pair of these, zipper on the inside ankle so you don't have to tie them every time. I've had em for about a month now and for 70 bucks not bad. Brighton Boots I don't know why reviews say they're slippery, I have no problem with mine, very good grip.
I'm a fan of Red Wing Shoes. I really like their #6691 6" Hiker Boot. It's not really a motorcycle specific boot, but I find it comfortable, has an aluminum toe and it's waterproof.
I also have their #971 6" boot, but find it's not as comfortable as the #6691.
