So i have researched this extensively before coming to you for help. I put on a new wheel and am hoping to diagnose this ABS light staying on.
I have C1025 coming up.. so...
DTC: C1025
FAULT CONDITION: Front wheel speed sensor signal intermittent
PRIORITY ORDER: 117
SOLUTION: 7.4 DTC C1025,C1027,C1206,C1208
Is this likely my sensor or the bearing? new bearing, shipped to me installed on wheel. I know ive put the wheel on right, bearing appears to be a drag specialties unit.. https://www.denniskirk.com/drag-spec...prd/123950.sku
anybody? alllmost ready to throw in the towel and take it somewhere. I could buy a new sensor and a new bearing but then you have to have the bearing pressed in anyways, no?
Just went through the same thing last week. I have a PM wheel and was getting C1025, C1032, and one other code.
Its one of three things:
1. Too much anti seize and the sensor is not able to read
2. The sensor is damaged
3. The bearing
I talked to both Harley and Thundermax who by the way carry's the TRACMAX the model that is used to correct the ABS fault so it read correctly. In my case HD replaced the sensor and bearing and I was good to go.
no, 2009. i suppose anti-sieze is possible culprit, i cleaned it off though. frustrating. i hurt nothing installing so i have no clue. i guess next is to put old rim on and see if its still there. damnit.
Well ride it first to see if its the anti seize first. If not then only left with 2 options, sensor or bearing. I had to use a HD bearing instead of the bearing that came with the PM wheel.
took it back apart, cleaned sensor, cleared code, reinstalled and ran around the block. abs light back on.
blah. would be easier if the wheel company wouldnt have back ordered my rotors. now i gotta switch the rotors back to the stock wheel to see if my problem is the bearing or the sensor.
at least talking it out has helped me in troubleshooting a little. i hate getting frustrated when im wrenching, nothin puts ya in a bad mood quicker.
Well if you did that than the only thing left is the bearing. You said the wheel came with the bearing installed,I'd take the wheel off and see if they have the right bearing in it and if they have the abs bearing turned the proper way. They may have it in backwards.
