Got it installed. my first ride with it I had the setback too far forward. I fixed it tonight and will try it out tomorrow on my commute to work. So far so good, though I do wish it would lock into place somehow, I am afraid someone is going to walk off with it.

I went through the same process with mine. In case it still doesn't go back far enough, you can flip the bracket around and get it even further back.

Have you tried one of these? Firm yet flexible and a lot of fun to clean!

Once, but it had an extremely annoying squeak that I couldn't get to stop.

I'm working on finding a replacement one though.

Mine like this got hard and uncomfortable and was missing when needed. Big issue was when I finally threw it away it took 1/2 of what I owned.
Replaced it with a similar model, same thing only she got 1/2 of 1/2. New model is different, seems to hang on more and is willing to try new positions. I even take it with me when not on the bike. She knows I only have 1/4 left so she is into back support for the right reasons.
