Brake Pad Replacement Pad Pin Bolt Stuck

Granted mines an 07, but I had to push the pads up into the caliper to get the second pin out. I'm not sure if the brembos have an spring in the top of the caliper that pushes down on the pads or not. Try wiggling and pushing the pad up while you try to pull the pin out.

This same thing happened to me this week. I took a punch and tapped the back of little and it still wouldn't come out. I took it to a local shop and he put a little more muscle into it and it came right out. There is a bur on the new pins too so this is how they are made. There's nothing wrong with the pin. I just knew something was wrong when every youtube video I saw the pin was just falling out. The moral to this story is to not trust everything you see on the internet....lol.
Solution was taking the caliper off the bike and bringing it to my indy. He used a spike looking thing (not sure what they call it) and a mallet then banged on it for about 5 minutes which finally got it out of there. It was seized in there pretty good and had some sort of build up of black crap inside which prevented it from coming out.
