When traveling and I let off of the throttle the motor dies for a short period then picks up again when it gets all the way back to idle position. Is this a fuel problem, sensor, or what?

 

fuel injection has sorta a lag when you let off the gas, in a carb model when you let off the gas as the engine slows down it still draws a small amount of gas from the carb, but with fi it pretty much cuts the flow off. then when it gets to a point it picks up and keeps the engine running. its normal!
