I have the same bike. How do you set the cruise to work? I've never used mine. When I put my new bars on I ordered the cable with the roll if switch wich I thought was a waste of money since I never use the cruise control.

 

Turn on the cruise sw. On the dash, then pull back on the rt. handlebar switch, above 35mph and voila. Just like in a car. Read your manual for increase and decrease. My wg has no cruise and after 119k on it, I love the cruise on my bagger, keeps me from getting tickets-- lol

 

The original owner switch out the handle bar switch housing to chrome and he didn't get the one with cruise I'm guessing. I have the switch on the dash.
