I have the PC-V, with the same problem, but mine only occurs when the engine is real hot stuck in traffic. I just noticed it for the first time a couple weeks ago coming home from a rally. It actually stalled out on me a couple times.

You guys do realize this thread is over 2 years old. There was a PC III firmware update in August of 07 that took care of this issue.
