Default tighten driving lights
Is there a way to tighten a driving/passing light without disassembling the whole assembly. It looks like a split socket would work but I have no idea where to buy one..thanks

Make a socket by cutting a groove in a deep 9/16 socket to accommodate the wire. Sometimes you can "muscle" the lamps. Use care.

old posts will have pics of sockets with grooves dremeled into them...I've been using the same one for over 20 years

Great. Thought that might work. I have lots of spare extra deep sockets that I can modify. I assume that this is how you would adjust them as well although it doesn't seem like there is much adjustment available. Again, thanks

If they are tight already, you can still adjust them by hand.
There is usually enough play left to tweak them by hand, give it a try.

An alternative may be to cut a slot in a deep throw ring wrench you can afford to sacrifice. I have one somewhere.....
