Roadking Classic Leather Saddlebag Locks
I noticed that the Tour Pak lock uses a regular key and the saddle bags kit uses a barrel key. What are the chances of having a barrel key on the Tour-Pak kit so they could be keyed-alike with the bike?
All it takes is one quick yank to snap open a locked saddlebag of any type & it takes probably 30 seconds total to steal the entire bag right off the bike..........

Are first option was to have the Tour-pak lock a barrel key, but with that style of locking system the barrel set up was not available. So what we have is a thin flat key for the Tour-pak.
Locks on any saddlebag(hard or soft)are one of the most useless inventions of all time, talk about a false sense of security.

Someone tugging, yanking, and molesting the saddlebags of a bike to steal them, will stand out much greater than someone casually strolling up to the bike as it it were 'theirs' and retrieving something from the unlocked bags.
I personally have the Intertiaworks locks on my bag. In fact, before I even ordered them, I had a question or two, and spoke to Duane? Or maybe Wayne? personally on his cell phone... he was an extremely friendly guy, and I think it's a pretty innovative product.
Yep, it's a bit tricky closing them and locking them sometimes.. the soft RKC bagsare extremely pliable, and finding any locking system that lines up PERFECTLY will be impossible.
Once again, it's a cool, well concealed deterrent, in my opinion.
