well known to many that the V&H power dual X cover can contact on right turns, esp if the suspension is compressed- like a dip in the curve.
this can relieve traction to the rear wheel causing a slide
you'll also want to remove the excess threaded rod from your clamp...whoever installed did it "the easy way" rather than orient it so that it won;t hit.

I have scraped my bottom pipe on my dresser duals. This was from making right hand turns. V&H are proud of there heat shields, didn't replace. The only time I scraped my crossover pipe was going from a pull off back up on the road and the drop off was more than expected and grabbed the bolt mainly on the clamp. Must have other issues
