Default Tech question: rear fender fitment

Hello!
My simple question is: can be fitted a 2014 EG rear fender on a 2009 EG without any DIY or there are some mods to be done?
Thanks!

physically it will fit.

you will have to sort out the wiring- i don;t think it is "plug and play"but the wiring won;t be hard to adapt.

harley uses

black for ground

blue for run light

red/yellow for brake light

brown and violet are turn signals

fender tip and plate light wires may both be black, the wire imprinted is +

by the way I saw your other post- if you have a windscreen which is too tall, it is easy to trim the bottom edge to your desired height.

I use a roto-zip or dremel tool- others have used jigsaws...because the cut edge is hidden it doesn;t have to be pretty

Thanks for answers. I was thinking about shorten from the bottom but If I remove 2" there is a certain angle at the sides of the windshield that doesn't fit any more with the fairing.
About the fender, I need to know more about the holes and the mounting hardware like the saddlebag quick-detachable system or the backrest for passenger.

Harley did not build a road glide in 2014, old model up to 2013, new model in 2015.

Sorry, my mistake. It was about an EG not RG.
Nobody has done this switch between fenders? Interesting...

If someone interested I just find out that the rear fender from SG is the same for models from 2009-2016 and is also the same with the EG. Except the lightings holes and the brake/turn light.
