Ears,INC Anyone have any Experience
Yes its winter and I'm back trying to figure a way out for getting music while riding my Road King. I can use ear buds under my hat but that only works till about 60 mph. I normally wear some ear plugs as the wind noise gets to me at hwy speeds. here's a link to the ones I'm looking at

Any one have some experience with these. Thanks......goldie
I found some with a deal that goes over the back of the ear and it came with three different size inserts for a close fit (sorry I don't remember the brand). While they aren't as quiet as proper ear plugs they do a pretty good job and I have no problem hearing the music at 75+
For a FF helmet, my Schuberth has a Bluetooth setup, so I use that.

there are all kinds of products available- multiple drivers, molds etc.
I find ( and so do some of my Pals) that customs molds are uncomfortable to wear for long periods- they may also couple/uncouple ( seal/unseal) with movements of the jaw. custom molds can hold sweat in and contribute to ear infections, they can be slow to get in and out- you almost have to screw them in.
I find a generic works best for me- Shure 535's the past 5 or 6 years.
these are pretty low profile - but I don;t wear a FF helmet, and you'd have to check clearance inside whatever you wear.
Most premium earbuds will have replacement wiring sets- check the cost on replacements.
The Shures use a swiveling plug at the ear bud which helps for wire management ( routing) and they have a heavy clear cable and a lighter black cable with iphone controls inline. the lighter cable transfers less mechanical noise from wind/vibration.
this can be a real concern.
here's a link- but shop around!
other brands we use might be Ultimate Ears ( although this brand was sold to a consumer electronics company), JH audio, Futuresonics, Westone Labs for molds...
Usually these companies will use an audiologist near to you to take impressions

Have not heard of them...
Seriously, I don't do wires. Bluetooth is my route.
Noise isolation is one thing, but noise cancellation is mighty big too.
Choose wisely, grasshopper...
